We provide solo 16+ semi-independent accommodation with 24-hour on-site support, offering local authority’s a reliable and timely placement option for young people.
Our home includes a fully equipped staff office and a spacious bedroom that can be personalised to reflect individual preferences. The property also features a furnished, welcoming living room and a well-appointed kitchen, providing a comfortable and supportive environment.
We prioritise comfort and safety, with central heating, soft furnishings, and essential safety equipment.
Our accommodation meets all health and safety standards, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines. We collaborate closely with local authorities and commissioners to continuously monitor and enhance the quality of our services.
Our home is conveniently located near doctors, dentists, opticians, education providers, local amenities, and public transport. With 24-hour staff, including sleep-in workers, we create a family-like environment to ensure young people feel safe, supported, and protected at all times.
These placements are structured with support plans based on thorough risk assessments, including clear boundaries to achieve positive outcomes.

Keyworker Mentoring
Every young person is assigned a dedicated keyworker who will assist them in developing a personalized support plan and provide essential information to guide them.
Tailored Support Plan
Together with their keyworker, each young person will design a structured support plan focused on helping them achieve their personal goals.
Equal Opportunity
We are committed to treating all individuals fairly and ensuring that our services are inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.
OUR TEAM
We carefully select staff for their passion and ability to make a positive impact in young people’s lives.
All staff involved in providing support meet statutory requirements under the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). Every team member must complete an enhanced DBS check prior to starting employment.
All staff are required to complete safeguarding training, which is regularly reviewed to ensure it remains relevant. A training database tracks the progress of staff with individual training needs assessed during regular performance reviews to support continuous professional growth and development.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) takes responsibility for child protection, working closely with external agencies such as social services, the Safer Partnership, and healthcare providers. The DSL receives ongoing training and support to effectively fulfill their role.
REFERAL PROCESS
Pennine Youth Support accepts both planned and emergency referrals, working with placement teams and EDT to accommodate urgent needs. Emergency referrals must include a completed risk assessment within 24 hours of placement.
While we prioritise planned placements to ensure young people are well-prepared, all referrals undergo a risk assessment and matching process to determine suitability. We may consult with other professionals as needed.
A person-centred support plan is developed based on the referral, risk assessment, and the young person’s pathway plan, focusing on independence preparation. Upon arrival, each young person receives a welcome pack with key information, including expectations and responsibilities.
